My friend BB gave me a great book to read this week. Its called "Tribes" by Seth Godin. The book is basically about how communication and the Internet has torn away the old paradigm of how change is made.
It is about building 'tribes' of people to make significant change in business, work, play, or any other interest is easier than ever before.
Can we build a tribe of 4th Sector Supporters?? Can we get enough people to support a corporation that is owned by shareholders who are nonprofits or charities. Would people support a company that was built to make money for our 'Causes'

I am thinking of starting a facebook group [update:http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=32889693709] to see if there would be support for a truly 4th sector angled company. The company would be majority owned by a range of causes and would produce passive income for those groups. So a 20 dollar donation could turn to a renewable contribution over time....just an idea.
